The Afghan Hound
|
|
To Understand What You Interact With You Must Understand The Workings Of Its Mind and How
That Mind Thinks. The Afghan Hound is one of the oldest pedigrees known to man. They are not like
any other creature on Earth. Their body is built differently to match their insight. They have a high
psychic capablity. Telepathic. Absolute evidence on numerous occasions. They feel things and respond to the impressions they receive. Accurate. They attune themselves to the environment. This is based on years of study. These creatures have a natural ability to work in pairs. They adapt to the people and the Land. Some use the word "aloof", better is the word "keen." They were utilized as Sentries in the Afghan mountains and mountain fortresses for longer than we know. Two on a wall. Four pairs to a Tribe. |

The practice of attack is one will run in circles around its prey and the second of the pair will come in fast
for a straight line attack. Usually for the throat. They rip into the target with snake like precision and run away. Repeating this motion until its prey is dead. In pairs they are known to kill mountain lions and some are known for single handed kills. Their speed and flexiblity makes it so they move in any direction with the snap of a finger. They build alliances. There are other things to know about how they think, eat, and repsond. One ripped the skin off another animal's body. A female was run over by a car, completely. Driver's side front tire and rear tire. She got up, ran away with 2 scratches, and came back to play. An average canine takes one year to mature, 4 stages of 3 months. The Afghan takes two years, 4 stages of 6 months but then it needs 2 to 4 years to fully mature. One 24 year old runt that was observed could jump over a 6 foot fence without even looking at it. 2 German Shepards let loose on 1 male afghan in a confined area. The Shepards were tore up, lying on the ground. The Afghan was shaking. And just more cautious. |
